Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. - Maintenance and Engineering Center
The Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics, designs, develops, manufactures and services private business-class jet aircraft. Gulfstream recently engaged 海角社区 as part of a highly collaborative design-build team to manage the construction of a new state-of-the-art maintenance and repair facility in Appleton, Wisconsin.
The new 180,000 SF facility, located just northeast of the airport terminal, features a full-scale airplane hangar, offices, workshops and support spaces to service and maintain aircraft. Additionally, the facility includes a Customer Innovation Lab, which allows customers to work directly with a designer to make individual aesthetic choices for their aircraft. Now completed, this facility is intended to serve as a template for similar facilities in the US and abroad.

Project Highlights
- The schedule successfully accommodated the changing of the interior finishes while the project was well into construction. The facility is the first of Gulfstream鈥檚 buildings to implement their interior finished standards that will be utilized throughout the country.
- The project achieved the client鈥檚 sustainability goals and is pending LEED鈥揝ilver certification.
